A newly renovated 6-sleeper house in Marloth Park
Nested amongst the lowveld tress, on the southern border of the Kruger National Park, you will find Silver Thorn House.
A restful and relaxing bush experience where you can have close encounters with the wildlife. Zebra, giraffe’s; kudu; warthogs and abundant birdlife are some of the frequent visitors.
In addition to the wildlife experience, walking, jogging, cycling, bird watching, and swimming (in the plunge pool) are some of the activities that you will also be able to enjoy

Beautiful entrance
You enter the House by passing the water feature specially designed to bring wildlife closer to our guests
Dining Room
Complete with large comfortable armchairs and a 6-seater dining table, the dining room opens completely with stack doors to allow you to view the surrounding bush and access the firepit and pool area
Living Room
The beautiful thatched living room upstairs (with three large comfortable couches) opens out onto a covered viewing deck which allows you to view the parkland, wildlife and pool from above.
Kitchen
A beautiful fully equipped kitchen that leads out to a fully covered veranda with seating and views towards the pool and outdoor area

Large outdoor and entertainment area. A firepit surrounded by seating and a built in braai

The house was clean and beautiful. The guest liaison communicated very well and was helpful. There is plenty of space to relax and hangout. I would definitely recommend this place.
We really had a great time at the Silver Thorn House and would highly recommend. It is a perfect stay to explore Kruger national park and the daily visits of impalas, kudus and many others made it even more special. Thank you so much!
Our stay at Silverthorn House was absolutely what we were looking for. From quiet evenings on the patio to watching the local warthogs taking a mud bath in front of us, to feeding kudu and wildebees at the house, everything was absolutely perfect.
Would recommend this location to anyone interested in being closer to the bush.
What a stunning home Silver Thorn House is. It has all that one needs and a little extra. Light, airy, peaceful and beautifully decorated with spacious bedrooms. We could open the doors and let the outdoors in. It was an amazing stay. The host was responsive and professional. A ten out of ten.
